Madame Tussauds – a money machine

I used to love visiting Madame Tussauds. The stars, the queens and kings, the politicians etc., etc. But it seems like the museum lost some of the charm. It is incredible expensive to visit and everywhere you see stalls where you can spend even more money – buying af photo of you and your family, souvenirs, popcorns etc. Money is in the air and that’s very unattractive.

Off course it was great fun to say hello to Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, Justin Bieber and Barack Obama (Oh no, now they are replacing him with Donald Trump, I guess). The model of Winston Churchill was really great and we liked the Star Wars characters a lot. But how can you present world leaders and forget Angela Merkel? And why replace the horror chamber with the Sherlock Holmes Experience?

Poor Sherlock

The new Sherlock Holmes experience seemed pointless, actually we hated it. We walked around and got some clues from a bunch of pretty bad actors but we didn’t understand why and how to solve the “mystery”.

Marvels 4D movie was great fun but what is it doing at Madame Tussauds? I have no clue. All in all we were a group of five persons in the age from 13 to 48 years – and we all thought there was way to few wax models and to many stalls selling photos, souvenirs and what so ever.

The Sherlock Holmes experience was more than pointless 3.12.16 in Londons Madame Tussauds: it was a disgrace: the story made no sense (we get shown a leg and at the end get asked if we found the coins?!) someone says he is HeSheMe Who cares Sherlock and throws us out with: Did you all have a lobotomy? Go home and write bad reviews on trip advisor.
    Totally enjoyed the visit though;)
